Beginners Tactics for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not need to be concerned about other, more experienced players winning their mulla.

A further Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game play, rookies will be able to take their time and scheme without having to make hasty decisions.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for an extended time with just a small bit of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
