Beginners Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

[ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the western in an awesome game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers play against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to worry about other, more skillful gamblers winning their money.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game play, beginners are able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty selections.

It is also much simpler to bet on for an extended time with only a tiny amount of cash since, to not win, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the casino gets seven cards face down.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
